The good flatware comes out of the cabinet grey-brown, with black sitting in every groove. Wipe it on, wipe it off, and the whole set is bright again before the table gets set tomorrow night.
Photos customers sent in, mostly of pieces that had been sitting in a cupboard for years.

I've done more than I thought I would with it.”Jasmine P.Verified“There was a small bowl that had been sitting at the back of the cupboard for as long as I've lived here. Genuinely thought it was ruined. It isn't. It's on the sideboard.”Dana K.Verified“Bought it for serving pieces but the first thing I tried was an old bracelet that had gone completely grey. Wore it to work the next day. Colleague asked if it was new.”
Plated pieces came out fineThis was my main worry because most of what I own is plated, not solid, and I've read horror stories about polish taking the plating off. I did a test patch on the underside of a dish first. Bright, even, no patchiness. Did the rest after that.

I use it on my work bag hardware tooNot what it's for but the clasps on a bag I carry every day had gone dull and I tried a tiny bit on them. Worked. Now I do them every few weeks.

Did it while the kids were at practiceAn hour to myself and I finally dealt with the tray that had been bothering me since Christmas. Done in about twenty minutes, had time left over.

I put it off for monthsThe cream sat in my cupboard for three weeks before I got round to using it because I assumed it would be a whole job. It took twenty minutes for the pieces I actually cared about. I wasted three weeks being tired at the thought of something that took twenty minutes.

My husband noticed before I said anythingI did the candlesticks on a Sunday while he was watching something. He walked past and said when did we get new candlesticks. Same ones we've had for eleven years.
Sue E.Verified07/13/2026
QuickDid four candlesticks in ten minutes. Very happy.

Better price than the one I was looking atI'd been eyeing a more expensive brand for months and never pulled the trigger. This was about a third of it and my sister said it worked for her so I tried it. No regrets, and I saved enough to buy the cloths too.
Adriana E.Verified07/13/2026
Clipped through a whole set fastTwelve settings, about fifty minutes, and that includes me stopping to answer the door. Previously this would have been a whole evening and I'd have given up halfway.

I thought it might be another one of those creams t...I thought it might be another one of those creams that promises no scrubbing and then you're standing there scrubbing anyway. It genuinely isn't. You wipe it on, it turns the cloth grey, you wipe it off. I kept waiting for the part where I had to work at it.
Keisha B.Verified07/12/2026
No brush neededThe reason I gave up on polishing silver years ago was the brush. You need a brush for the detail, the brush leaves marks, the paste dries in the gaps. None of that here. Cloth only.
Rosemary O.Verified07/12/2026
Bought a second for my sisterShe has our grandmother's flatware and has complained about it for years. Sent her one. She called me the same evening she used it.
Wendy O.Verified07/12/2026
No gloves neededI have sensitive hands and I was expecting to need gloves for this. Didn't. I washed my hands after and that was fine.
Kim B.Verified07/11/2026
I was worried about the engravingOur flatware has a scrolled pattern on the handles and every paste polish I've used left white stuff packed in there that I then had to pick out with a toothpick. This didn't do that. Thats the whole review really.
Dana K.Verified07/11/2026
Worked on a bracelet I'd written offBought it for serving pieces but the first thing I tried was an old bracelet that had gone completely grey. Wore it to work the next day. Colleague asked if it was new.
Nia W.Verified07/11/2026
The cloth goes grey and the silver doesn'tThat's the bit that convinced me it wasn't scratching anything. You can see where the tarnish went. It's on the cloth. It didn't get rubbed into the metal or taken off with a layer of silver, it lifted.
Nell H.Verified07/10/2026
Second jarOrdered another one for upstairs. The first one lives in the kitchen drawer with the flatware, this one is for jewelry. Easier than carrying it around the house.
Lourdes F.Verified07/10/2026
Didn't have to figure anything outOpened it, put a bit on a cloth, started wiping. There's no setup, no soaking, no mixing anything. I was done before I'd finished the podcast I put on for it.

Got the tea set out for the first time in yearsMy mother in law gave us a tea set when we got married and it sat in the china cabinet going darker every year. I did the pot first because I figured if I ruined it I'd only ruined one piece. Took maybe eight minutes and the cloth went almost black. The pot did not. I did the rest that afternoon.

It worksBought it, used it, silver is bright. Not much else to say.
Esperanza R.Verified07/08/2026
Used it the night before EasterI'm not proud of leaving it that late but I opened the cabinet on Saturday and everything was grey and there was no time to order anything else. Luckily I already had this in the cupboard from a previous order. Whole set done in about forty minutes while dinner was in the oven.

Antique frame came backNot flatware, a picture frame that's been in the family a long time. It had gone almost uniformly dark. I went slowly and in sections because of the age of it and it's the brightest it's been since I inherited it.
Imani W.Verified07/07/2026
Small jar goes further than it looksI was skeptical seeing how small it was when it arrived. You use a tiny amount at a time though, on the cloth, not on the piece. I've done more than I thought I would with it.

I was worried about the monogramWe have a platter with my mother's initials on it and the letters had gone completely black. I assumed that part would need something else. It didn't. The cream came out of the grooves with the cloth and there was nothing left sitting in the letters.
Jasmine P.Verified07/06/2026
Used it on a piece I'd given up onThere was a small bowl that had been sitting at the back of the cupboard for as long as I've lived here. Genuinely thought it was ruined. It isn't. It's on the sideboard.

My abuela's serving spoonsThese were hers and honestly I'd stopped thinking of them as usable. They were black in the bowl and grey everywhere else. They're on the table now. I don't really know how to explain what that's worth so I'll just say it worked.
Deb R.Verified07/02/2026
Shipping took a bit longer than I expectedProduct is great, no notes there. It took about a week and a half to arrive which was longer than the two days mentioned. Might have been a busy period. Just plan ahead if you need it for a specific date.
Yolanda G.Verified06/28/2026
Works well, wish the jar were biggerNo complaints about how it performs. I did twelve place settings plus a gravy boat and a small tray. The jar is not empty but it's noticeably down and I have more to do. Ordering two next time, that's on me for underestimating what I had.
Gina S.Verified06/25/2026
Would like it in a larger sizeNothing wrong with the product at all. I just have a lot of silver, inherited from both sides, and I'd happily pay more for a bigger jar rather than reordering. Four stars only because of that.
Jacqueline D.Verified06/20/2026
Did the whole thing in one afternoonFollowed the guide order actually, handles first then the rest. I was skeptical that the order mattered but it does mean you're not putting your fingers back on things you already did. Whole collection took me about ninety minutes including the pieces I'd been avoiding.
Leah F.Verified06/18/2026
Works on flatware, less impressed on one pieceOn the cutlery and the tray it did exactly what's described, no issues. There's an old teapot with a very heavily oxidised base that needed three passes and even then it's not quite even. Maybe that one is past saving. Everything else was fine so I'm somewhere in the middle on this.
Aldric & VaneThanks for taking the time to write this out — and for being specific about which piece gave you trouble. Heavily oxidised bases do sometimes need repeat passes with drying time between them rather than back to back. If you'd like, email our team with a photo and we'll tell you honestly whether it's worth another go or whether that one needs a restorer.

Fast and easyArrived quick, did what it said. Good.
Simone F.Verified06/11/2026
Stayed brightCleaned everything in the spring. Opened the drawer in June expecting to have to do it again before a birthday dinner and it was still fine. Wiped the two pieces that get handled most and that was it.
Carolina O.Verified05/30/2026
Good product, smell is noticeableIt does the job well and I'd buy it again. But there is a chemical smell to it, not overwhelming but I opened a window. If you're sensitive to that kind of thing just be aware. Not enough to take a star off the actual performance, I just think it's worth mentioning.
Terri V.Verified05/14/2026
Color of the jar is different from the photoMinor thing but the packaging looked different to what was pictured. Product inside is the same and works fine, just thought I'd mention it in case anyone's expecting the exact jar in the images.

Didn't do much for meTried this on some cutlery in the garage that's been out there a while. Some of it might be stainless, I'm not totally sure what's what. It made no real difference on most of it. My wife says it worked on her jewelry so maybe I used it wrong or it's the wrong stuff for what I had. Either way not what I was after.
Aldric & VaneAppreciate you writing in, and sorry it didn't land the way you hoped. Stainless doesn't tarnish the way silver does, so a tarnish remover won't have much to work on there — that would explain the result on most of the pieces. If you want to tell which is which, our free guide covers a quick test. And please do reach out to our support team either way; we're happy to sort something out for you.

I'd stopped setting the good tableFor about six years I've used the everyday set for everything because getting the other one out meant an evening at the sink first and it never came out properly anyway. Did it all in one go with this. We've used the good set three times since. My daughter noticed, which is the part that got me.

Second time orderingRan out after doing the whole house last year. Same product, same result. Straightforward reorder.
Questions, answered
It removes tarnish chemically rather than by abrasion, so nothing is being ground off the surface.
On plated pieces, work in small sections with light pressure and stop as soon as the piece is bright.
If you're not sure whether a piece is plated or solid, the free guide includes the test that tells you before you touch it.
a tea set, cutlery that touches food, jewelry with stones?
— Tea sets, trays, candlesticks and flatware are what it's made for.
On cutlery that touches food, rinse and dry the piece after you've buffed it.
Keep the cream off porous or set stones — pearls, opals, turquoise and anything glued rather than prong-set — and work around them on the metal only.
The cream leaves a thin moisture-resistant film after buffing, which slows down the next tarnish cycle rather than stopping it forever.
How long that lasts depends on where the piece is kept — open on a sideboard darkens faster than closed in a drawer.
For pieces you only use twice a year, the drawer strips do the rest.
You use a small amount at a time, on a cloth, not straight onto the piece.
Most customers get through a full flatware set and a few serving pieces without making a noticeable dent.
If you have a large collection or a whole house of silver, the 2-jar option exists for that reason.
